Jeff West Artists show their CREATIVITY at Washburn Art Day!

Washburn University hosted the annual High School Art Day on November 18^th ,2011.  Over one hundred students from area high schools participated in hands-on workshops led by Washburn Art faculty and also exhibited their creative efforts in the art department galleries. Ten students from Jefferson West exhibited 29 works of art and 5 workshops each.  The group were sponsored by Mr. Ralston and student teacher Mrs. Armstrong.

in Mixed Media for her sculpture titled “Artie”.
